Maximum Protection Soft Foam Ear Plugs

My husband snores loudly. These are the best, softest ear plugs I’ve ever bought! I’ve been using earplugs for about 10 years now, nightly. I’ve tried name brands, drugstore brands, other Mack types, some fancy sound-engineering brand (pricey and painful), some blue ones I wish I remembered the brand because they were pretty good, but none as good as these orange ones. They squish easily into the ear and expand softly. I’m a side sleeper and have no pain with them (which I did with some others). These are also the ones that silence snoring the best.Other reviewers complained about some earplugs arriving all squished and they threw them away. Don’t! Yes, the manufacturer put way too many earplugs in such a small bottle, but I left the 5 squished/misshapen ones on my night stand to rest and re-shape themselves all night. Next morning they were as sponge-y as the rest. Also, I think some people don’t know that they are not meant to fit all ears straight from the package. My ear canals are short. If I try to put an ear plug as it comes it will pop right out cause it’s too long. So I cut about an 1/16 - 1/8 inch with scissors and perfect! They fit, they don’t fall out in the middle of the night, they don’t get lost in my ear. I’m showing how much I cut in the pic. I love these earplugs.

I saw SUNN live in my area and I came prepared. Their shows have been documented with SPL meters showing 125db at the live mixing desk and I was about eight feet from the stage.I followed the directions on the package and popped them in before they came out on stage and never had a problem. Occasionally, if I opened my mouth just right you would get a sneak peak of what you were missing and it sounded terrible. At this volume you were able to hear more by hearing less.My hearing is very important to what I do for a living and I've already damaged it throughout my life. Don't be a hero and raw dog something loud, you'll regret it possibly for the rest of your life. These worked for me and I would highly recommended them.

Works as advertised, good noise cancellation, sit snug in your ear. Definitely worth your money

I've tried similar items from other companies in the past. These Mack ones are much more comfortable and better at reducing noise. Would buy these again.

Classic squeezy earplugs that, for me, work for sleep better than most others I've tried. Comfortable too. They cancel out just about everything but the noise produced by the most stubborn and annoying car-horn blowing types who park right under your window.

I've been trying to find the perfect earplug for sleeping. I have a new upstairs neighbor upstairs that gets up for work at 4am and is a pretty loud morning person. I've been on the hunt for plugs that i can put in at night that prevent her morning routine from waking me.After trying all the scientifically and aerodynamically designed loops and ovals and discs and everything else that I assumed would be superior I decided to give these a go just to see. Nothing else comes close to these in terms of comfort and noise blocking. Hands down.

Great ear plugs - easy to fit don't work their out during the night and definitely block out snoring, doors being banned when staying away and general noises that otherwise might disturb you.

They fit into my ears quite well and block out basically any noise. Sleep quality has improved immensely!

My husband has tried many different earplugs but finds these the best. Comfortable and effective. Unfortunately one of my dogs really likes the taste ;(

I used these for the noise on the rideing mower and they work fine. They are soft and easy to get into your ears and really cut the noise leavel down but you can still hear what’s around you. I have them in for 4 hours at a time and had no pressure or discomfort. Nice earplugs . Would purchase again.

After trying several brands, Mack's earplugs are, without a doubt, the ones that have worked best for me. I would give them over 4.5 stars without hesitation. While they don't block out all noises completely, they manage to muffle them by 70-80%, which is more than enough for me. Some interior sounds, such as occasional knocking, are still noticeable, but they completely eliminate the annoying whirring of ceiling fans, refrigerators, freezers, and indoor and outdoor air conditioning units. These sounds were the ones that disrupted my rest the most, and with these earplugs, I've been able to sleep much better. One detail that surprised me is that they even reduce the noise of my own sandals when walking on hardwood floors. Plus, the fit is excellent: they don't loosen or fall out during the night, unlike other brands I've tried. Each pair lasts me several weeks of continuous use, which is also a plus in terms of durability.

Can’t believe how effective these are!After years of searching for the ultimate ear plug (very noisy neighbours), at last!These are the ones - totally effective.

As comfortable as the original Beige colored ear plugs. But this has a bit more noise isolation.Still comfortable for sleeping.

After trying several brands, these are by far the ones that work for me. I'd give these Mack's more of 4.5 stars. The plugs don't completely block out all noises, but rather muffles out 70-80%. You can still hear a little bit of banging and clanging indoors. However, the plugs do completely block out the otherwise annoying humming noises from ceiling fans, loud fridge/freezer, and loud indoor A/C and outside A/C ground unit. These are the annoyances that have been plaquing my sleeping for a long time. Now, these Mack's max protection do the job well of blocking out those noises so I can get the restful sleep. Surprisingly, these also muffle out noises from my hard soles flip-flop sandals on hardwood flooring.Every plug fits right and doesn't fall out or loosen during sleep; whereas other brands I've bought do loosen out. These actually last a few weeks of usage per pairs as well. What I also like is these plugs also muffle out the outside neighbor noises and the loud and otherwise disturbing modified car mufflers and louder motorcycles like Harley.Thank you, Mack, for a restful sleep!

I bought these orange ear plugs, and Mac's needs to do one of two things: either sell them cheaper in quantities of 40, or pack 50 in a larger container. The top 10 or 12 ear plugs were mashed beyond use when the lid was screwed down. I tried to roll them back into shape, but nope. You can't put 15 lbs of potatoes into a 10 lb bag. I haven't used these yet, but I've used Allen's, which is a similar product.

Perfect for sleeping

These ear plugs are not the best. I’ve had several other brands that seem to fit better and reduce noise more effectively. These plugs come jammed into a plastic bottle and quite a few are pretty deformed. They eventually return to their designed shape but it takes quite a while. My preferred brand, Heros Xtreme Protection , comes loosely packed in a box, ready for insertion.

I was using the 3M ones before this which are also quite good. These are softer and probably easier to get moulded into the ear canal. So I do recommend these as they seem like a good ear plug. I just find with all of them, they don’t block enough sound for me. I wish they gave me silence. I can still hear the tv in the background or conversations I wish were blocked out. But it’s not a fault of the product, I think it’s just the limit of what these earplugs can do. All in all, I like these ones as they stay in the ear well after applying and don’t seem to want to creep out as easily as other brands I have tried. So in saying that, I think if you need this style of earplugs, this is a good one to get, better than several others.
