Why did you pick this product vs others?:As a mom of four water-loving kids, this little gadget just became summer essential status. Whether it’s pool days, beach trips, or splash-pad chaos, someone always ends up with water stuck in their ear — and the complaints start rolling in.Enter: Mack’s EarDryer.✅ Super easy to use (even my kindergartener can hold it still)✅ Gentle, warm air — no loud noise or scary pressure✅ Folds up compact for the pool bag✅ Dries ears in about a minute — no hopping on one foot or hair dryer gymnasticsHonestly? It’s one of those things I didn’t know we needed… until we used it every day for a week straight.Worth it.
i have smaller than normal ear canals, so water gets trapped in there frequently. i used to use isopropyl alcohol ear drops to help dry out my ears, but it was often painful. this thing is a game changer! it dries my ears fast and painlessly. the tips are soft and get warm during use, and they actually fit in my ear comfortably. i wish i would've known about it sooner, it’s 1000% worth it!!!
I've been using this for 2 years and my Dad saw it when I was visiting. He told me he had to wait an hour after the shower to put in his hearing aids or they sometimes don't work due to water in the ear canal coming into contact with them. Sometimes he would leave the house and forget to put the hearing aids in, which was frustrating. He tried my ear dryer and really liked it so we ordered him his own. He's been using it every day for a year and loves it. Now he can put his hearing aids in right away after using the dryer. It's nice to be able to help him out with something.
Had a problem with the charging and called customer support and together we found the problem…Me! I was not using the wire that was intended for it. For a hearing aid user it is a must.
I get swimmers ear every time I’m in the water. This ear dryer prevents it better than any drops I’ve used. After a few minutes It has an auto shut off and the ear canal is completely dry. I like the warm sensation and the healing red light therapy especially since the area is sensitive due to so many ear infections.
Very satisfied with product.
My husband loves this and it has helped with his ear issues
I’ve been getting recurrent outer ear infections (of the canal, ie. Swimmer’s Ear) on my right side, presumably as that ear canal is narrow & curved, which traps water, plus I’m on immunosuppressant medications which make me more susceptible to infections.I’ve tried drying drops, but they cause irritation when used daily as alcohol dries out the skin.Plus I’ve tried other drops, like ones containing vinegar, but those are better suited to treat an early mild infection (or prevent one), and don’t address the root cause. My doctor recommended using a hair dryer after showering to aid in drying my ear canal, but that is loud and not very effective as you can’t get very close. So I tried this ear dryer. It’s very mild, such so that you would barely know it’s on if not for the fan noise (you can only feel air when it’s inserted in the ear, not when you hold your hand up to it), but it does help a bit. I usually need 2 cycles (of 85 seconds each, after which it automatically shuts off) to make any difference, and I use it after towel drying, then inserting my pinky finger into my ear wrapped in a Kleenex tissue.Pros: Provides some ear drying benefit. Quick. Easy to use (press button, insert in ear, wait for auto shut off). Not too loud. Doesn’t dry out the ear like drops do. No beep (like apparently some other models do). Folds in half to protect the ear piece. Doesn’t require a power outlet.Cons: Not super powerful (although that would likely be unsafe). Takes 4 AA batteries which I’ve read only provide about 50 cycles of power, and rechargeables aren’t recommended, so it will require a lot of batteries over time (expensive and bad for environment).
This portable ear dryer is fantastic. It is battery-operated so no problems with charging it. Comes with four flexible ear tips. It folds up so easy to pack. Easy to use as unfold, turn on, and place in the ear. It will turn on and then turn off when finished. Not sure how well will work with children as the fan is noisy. As a RN I would recommend without reservations.
WORKED GREAT TO DRY MY EARS, ORDERED TWO YEARS AGO
OMG! I love, love, LOVE this! As a scuba diver, this is better than drops for drying you ears after a dive. It's also very soothing with the warm air that it gently blows into your ears. It has become a staple for a lot of my dive buddies.
Produto de qualidade, cumpre o que promete.
After going to doctor for ear ringing... He subscribed this year dryer... And nasal spray,. I'm not sure if this will fix the problem...as I've just started using it...But the ear dryer is drying out my ears...The doctor says the ringing has to do with stopped up nasal and ear canel being plugged...
I purchased Mack's Air Dryer three months ago and used it a total of ~16 times. Unfortunately the batteries died every third use. I went through 15 batteries during this very short time, all of which were recently purchased and brand new. All were name brands. The most recent were Duracell.I emailed the company and they quickly responded with a suggestion to try to help rectify the issue. It turned out to be a faulty product overall. The company immediately refunded my purchase price. They were very helpful at every step.I won't hesitate to purchase products from them again. They really stand by their products.
The hot air so soothing and since I started using it my ear doesn't hurt no more
Pricy but so so good! I have narrow ear canals and have been told by docs that i may need drains put in...i was a swimmer in school and i have struggled since birth against frequent ear infections. As a child i had the all the time and they still plague me as an adult. This dryer is awesome, far more comfortable than drops, even if i have to use it twice on both ears most days after a shower. Does an exceptional job of drying me out with little discomfort! Highly recommend!
I purchased this product because after I went to the the Dr, I wanted something to help with my swimmers ears so I purchased this and I am glad I did after getting out the shower I am normally having to keep hoping that my ears naturally dry, but that is not the problem with this product 5 star general rating.
My son started swimming lessons this year. Apparently his ears just swallow water, after several ear infections and a ruptured ear drum and trying the ear plugs and ear covers for swimming I learned a little trick of using a hair dryer to gently dry your ears after swimming. Then I found this product which just made this task so much easier! My husband even loves using it! It folds up small enough to fit nicely in my pool bag, it came with 4 different ear fittings all in a different color so everyone in the family got their own. And it’s so easy to just hand it to my son who can easily turn it on, hold it to his ear like a telephone, and let it do the work from there. It runs its own cycle that warms up just to the right temperature and last just the right amount of time, even my four-year-old daughter can easily use this on her own. They now know the simple routine of using this to dry their ears after every swim. I never knew how much water was is my ears until using this and feeling the change from wetness to dry, it’s now a staple in my pool bag!
Wow, I have to shout out to Mack's Ear Dryer! This little gadget has truly been a lifesaver for me. As someone who loves water activities - whether it's swimming, surfing, or just a long, hot shower - I've always had to deal with the annoyance of water-logged ears. But those days are over now!I love how Mack's Ear Dryer uses warm, soothing air to naturally dry your ears. I didn't realize how much of a difference it would make, but it's just like night and day. No more fiddling around with cotton swabs or ear drying drops, which never seemed to work that well for me anyway. This ear dryer is just so fast and convenient! It dries my ears in about a minute, and it's super easy to use. You just press a button and let it do its magic. Plus, it's comfortable to use, and even my kids don't mind it.Another huge bonus is how compact it is. It folds up for easy storage and travel, so it's perfect for taking on vacations or water sports outings. No more worries about swimming or diving on vacation and then dealing with clogged ears for days. What really impresses me is the fact that this device was invented by an ENT doctor. It's comforting to know that it's designed to safely dry the ear canal where bacteria can potentially grow. That's a big win in my book!I'd recommend this to anyone who spends time in the water or uses hearing aids. It's a game-changer. Thanks to Mack's Ear Dryer, I can dive into all the water fun without any ear worries. It's definitely earned its 5 stars from me!
This was recommended to me by my daughter's ENT for her recurrent ear infections. We used it twice a day for two weeks then just once a day. It helped dry up her ears and allowed her ear drops to do their job. We still use it after baths or swimming to keep her ears dry. It's very easy to use, looks like an old cellphone when in use. It sends warm air into the ear canal which tickles a bit. My toddler fought it at first but has gotten used to it. It uses three AAA batteries, and we have had to replace them twice in about 4 months
These things work great to dry out my ears after flushing them with water. I've suffered persistant ear infections for a decade, and didn't learn the importance of drying my ears until recently.I wish they had a better power system - 3 AAs per unit is a lot. The 4 colored silicone nozzles are a nice inclusion, so I can tell which ear I'm using each with, and I have two units since I don't want to wait for one ear to finish until I can do the other. It does look a little silly holding two of these up to my head in the mirror. I kind of wish they were shaped more like headphones? but it does help to hold the nozzle at variable distances outside the ear while drying.
I had one of these years ago. I brought it from America from a dive shop and used it regularly. This is exactly the same except this takes your standard AA batteries not a rechargeable one. The battery is what went wrong with the old one. This gives a gentle flow of air to dry the inner ear. It helps prevent ear infections
The Macks Ear Dryer and McKenon Products rate 5 stars. I had some issues with my ear dryer after six years of use. I contacted the company for help and was immediately connected with an expert on this product.. He was so receptive and helpful, explaining what procedures to try to restore the dryer. As promised he called me the next day and with his help the problem was completely resolved. The Macks Ear Dryer is a unique, well made product. This is the only company, to my knowledge, who makes this type of product. After swimming a one hour lap session it is able remove the last bit of water that has seeped deep into my ear canal.Bottom line, product support is quality, paired with an amazing rapid response. McKenon is a small, family owned business started by two brothers in 1957. I feel fortunate to be a customer and admire not only their products but their ability to keep up with today's trend towards mega dominate corporations.
I have had a problem with wet ears for years - YEARS, and suddenly all is clear due to its wonderful piece of kit Thank you Mack.
I like it is easy to travel with. Works better than I expected. My Dr prescribed it for me and so glad she did ! I wish previous Drs were as smart as my new Dr is, she ROCKS! Long term problem with my ears, no longer an issue.Easy to use and no longer have to worry about ear wax plugging up my hearing aids, I am now able to wear them (hearing aids) again and not suffering from ear infections, a long term issue I endured for years !I considered it sort of pricey until I started reaping the benefits of usage. The price is well worth it for me if it just stopped one ear ache, which I am happy to say i’m sure it has exceeded that a few times already.
Fonctionne très bien. Je n'ai pas eu d'otite externe depuis que je l'utilise. Une étoile en moins pour l'absence de batterie rechargeable. (Des piles !? En 2022 ?!)
